The "Genesis" of The Limoncino

Hello darlings,

Very often the idea of starting over, whether it be in a new career, a new relationship, or a new home, can be rather daunting for some. But for others, it can be a relief.

For the both of us, change has never been an issue. But what about when you are doing it in your 40s?

Early last year during the lockdown, we both felt it was time for a change. With the pandemic came a huge increase in the amount of time we spent online, and we began to crave doing and creating things with our hands. But what?

What about rekindling the art of carpentry that Matteo learned from his father and grandfather? Sadly, these types of artisans are slowly disappearing amid the pursuit of more so-called prestigious office jobs, but what these years have taught us is that the beauty of life comes from simplicity.

So this new adventure, The Limoncino, is going to be an opportunity for us to create artisan wooden pieces that will be part of your home hopefully for generations to come, just as it was done in the past.

We will also be offering home decor elements made by me, as well as some thoughtfully chosen vintage pieces that we discover along the way.
